Colorful

Most of my work is pretty colorful, but I could not think of another title for this post. I did the first 3 pieces for a bridal party in June. The bride and I got together a couple of times for her to tell me about her wonderful friends and together we came up with some ideas for me to paint for the girls. There were 10 paintings in all. the other 7 are scattered into other categories. The bottom left piece is NOT from my imagination. It is a painting that I reproduced in a smaller size...so I cannot be given much credit for the beautiful design.
The bottom right piece is very special painting to me. For the past 5 years I have spent most of my painting time creating for other people. People would tell me what they want or give me a photo and I would paint it for them. I had a good starting pointing in getting my imagination going, so creating without somebody telling me what they want has become a challenge. So this painting was my freedom painting. I was reading a great book called "Hinds Feet on High Places," when I painted this. I sat at my easel while I read and just let me hand go and explore something new. There are lot of tears, smiles and healing painted into that piece. I felt the Lord showing me freedom from fear and washing me new.
